I heard a Great-horned Owl this morning at my home on Dismal River. I was
leaving for work when I heard it. It's call was a little higher pitched than
the one I've heard previous. I discussed with Roger the difference, and he
related that there may be a difference in pitch between sexes. I still haven't
added this species to my life list, even though I've heard it several times.
I'm thinking if adding it, as I usually start finding the hard-to-find birds
everywhere after they're on my life list!
