By 10:00 clouds were fewer but fog and haze remained in the point valley. Haze remained in NE valley most of day. By 2:00 some high cirrus clouds came over but did not reveal any birds. Skies cleared to 30% cloud cover including low cumulus particularly north of tower. Raptor Observations: For a change over the last 3 days the first 2 hours reminded me of the last few years. First BWH rose through fog east of 'the point' at 9:01 (DST) and by 10:00 am spotted 37 BWH's. Then by 11:00 added 84 more, including a decent kettle rising east of the 'rear' west point of at least 50 + BWH's. Sky cleared by noon and the usual bright blue skies make spotting impossible. After a long birdless afternoon, including very few Vultures and Ravens, saw 3 BWH at 4:45 then nothing before I left at 5:30. Not a single accipiter etc all day.
