Fantastic Dave. It’s great that you can get that close. Our male is still
hanging around here and eating the oranges, but I haven’t yet seen a female
with him. I hope he gets one soon.

Subject: [bcbirdclub] Nesting Baltimore Oriole
After nearly 38 years living here, another first! We have often found nesting
Orchard Orioles on our property but this year we have Baltimores! The nest is
located in a wild grapevine hanging from the Locust tree beside our driveway.
The female, shown here, allows me to watch construction from as close as 20 ft.
The blue material ,visible in the nest, is strips from an old plastic tarp
covering some wood in our backyard.
