Yesterday a Lincoln's Sparrow perched in the tree over our yard pond. This is the first one I have seen this spring. It got into thicker foliage before I could get a photo. One of the other visitors we have had in the last few days is a female Baltimore Oriole that came in to bathe in the stream. Three Gray Foxes are still regular visitors to our yard at night, but yesterday a female came in during the day to sit and wait for a handout. She was a bit wet, probably from the wet weeds she had passed through. She probably has a litter close by. She wasn't the least bothered by me taking pictures from the dining room doorway.
