While out looking for morels today I checked out this huge Beech tree on our
property where Red-shouldered Hawks have nested off and on over several
years. You can see the female in the nest. That white behind her is her tail
feathers. I think she is crouched down, hoping that I wouldn't see her. Once
I realized she was there I took a quick photo and left. By the way, I did
find a few morels.
