[bcbirdclub] Ruffed Grouse

Thought I'd sent this out on Sunday... On Saturday Dave Worley, Frank Simms,
and I birded Burkes Garden, Roaring Fork, and the Cove in Tazewell Co., VA.
There wasn't a tremendous amount of activity, but it was a beautiful Fall day
and we did see some good birds and wildlife. We saw several raptors including
Red-Tailed Hawks, Kestrels, and Northern Harriers, but the highlight of the day
was a flock of approx. 40 Turkeys and this Ruffed Grouse that put on quite a
show about 10 feet from our parked car.
