Only had a precious few minutes early this morning to check for birds, but I was able to spot White-crowned, white-throated, Swamp, Song, Field & Chipping Sparrows as well as a little sharp-tailed fellow that dove for cover & couldn't be viewed. I hope we can find that one tomorrow. I also saw a Kingfisher fly down the creek, a Junco at the feeders, a singing Blue-headed Vireo in the woods and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet in the weedy field. Brown Thrashers, Mockingbirds & Towhees were seen as well. Hopefully all these and more will show up for tomorrows Sparrow Day. Come on out...Dave Raines/Breaks VA
