Congratulations to Tom and Laverne and Jerry and Jane for finding both species of eagles in the area on the same day. Way to go guys and gals. Nice photos Tom. Jerry and Jane, I'm surprised the Great White Heron is still hanging around. I wonder how long he/she will stay, until the first freeze maybe? We didn't see many species (notably absent were sparrows), but we did have a couple of goodies. We had two juvenile Golden Eagles in Corn Valley. We also found the Great White Heron on the Clinch River. We crossed the river at Blackford and turned by the Russell County Convenience Center. The bird was about half-way between Blackford and the confluence of the Clinch & Little Rivers. Jerry
