I've had a terrible time trying to post to this list. Virtually every post
is returned. Of course, for the other list members, that might be a
blessing. Anyway, I'm trying a new configuration.
While I'm trying, a couple of things of interest. I have great numbers of
hummingbirds after a very slow start. I'm feeding approximately 2 gallons
per week from 4 feeders. At times, there are more than 20 birds at the
feeders. It's impossible to count them as they buzz around looking for a
free perch and chasing each other.
Also, yesterday, I had a Green Heron and a Belted Kingfisher perched on a
telephone wire within 20 feet of each other as they checked out Loop Creek
for lunch.
