Hi All,
Today the fall migration officially began here on Compton Mt with the sighting
in my back yard of the first Blackburnian Warbler of the season. Other warblers
sighted were American Redstart, Blue-winged, Hooded and Yellow-throated. Some
other interesting birds in the mix were Brown Thrasher, Gray Catbird, Cedar
Waxwings, Indigo Bunting, Pileated Woodpecker, Red-eyed Vireo and Scarlet
Tanager.
