Hi Everyone,
We will have our regular birdclub meeting on Monday, December 10th at the
Buchanan County Public Library at 6:00 p.m. I will be presenting a Power Point
Program. I will just surprise you with the topic. If anyone would like to
present a future program to the group, please let me know. You will be welcome
to do so.
On the following Monday, December 17th, we will have our annual Christmas party
at the Chinese restaurant at the Grundy Plaza at 6:00 p.m. Each person
attending should bring a small (no more than $5.00) bird related gift, since we
will have our annual gift drawing.
We have not yet heard when the Breaks Christmas Bird Count will be held. As
soon as we are informed by the Breaks' Naturalist, I will post the date.
Here is a photo of a Great Blue Heron I photographed on the Levisa River just
downriver from Grundy a couple of weeks ago.
