A late post.  Yesterday, on my way to the polls, I saw my FOS White-crowned
Sparrows on Elk Garden Road near the Mudhole.  The Mudhole itself was very
active with more than 60 Canada Geese, 11 Mallards, 2 Wood Ducks, and a half
dozen Killdeer.
