Don't let him get away! When we first moved into our current home,
back in 1995, I had a different computer than the one I'd been
provided through the DSB job. I was put in contact with a blind man
in Ashland, Oregon, Bill Blue, a computer wizard. Bill took such good
care of me and my computer that we even sent him a care package...I
forget just what it was, but something like a box of home-made
cookies. Later on Lynn Gressley moved to Port Townsend. Lynn had
taught computer science to blinded veterans at Palo Alto. Over the
next ten years Lynn walked me through two computer upgrades. Since
Lynn's death from brain cancer, I've found that there are lots of so
called computer experts out there, but you have to be very careful
when selecting someone.

Sometimes, it was difficult to get to the article from the link provided.
Almost always, the reading was interrupted by a repeated nonsense phrase or
number. Finally, last night when I couldn't reach an article regardless of
what I did and the nonsense phrase kept repeating, I sent it to Bill White
who has become the person to whom I turn when I become desperate about a
computer problem. He has some kind of inborn intuition about computers.
He's
never taken any computer courses. First, he accessed the article for me
that
I was attempting to read and sent it to me. He said that my problem had
something to do with the browser. But it turned out that we were both using
Google Crome. So then he explained that there was something that had to be
done with flags and if he did that, then when I go to the article, I just
press alt and then up arrow to reader mode and press enter. He had a
difficult time with my Google but eventually, he did whatever it was that
was necessary. So today, when I went to the Covert Magazine article that I
just sent to all of you, I first did what he told me to and reading the
article was absolutely without difficulties.
