Here is a message that I've attempted to send to the same list where you
just sent your announcement about the book you scanned which, by the way,
sounds really interesting. My message was rejected 4 times and I've given
up. Maybe you can forward it for me or maybe you can figure out what my
problem is.
I am so confused. I just went to the Bookshare website to look for a book
that I'd heard about on a podcast and, in the end, I did actually find the
book and requested it to be downloaded in the daisy audio format. But Jaws,
and I have the latest version on a windows 10 computer, kept telling me
things that were confusing. It said I had the wrong user name or password
when, as it turned out, I was actually logged in. I had great difficulty
finding the quick search choice and using it. It put the longer, more
complicated search first. When I finally managed to write my book title in
the search field, it put all kinds of extraneous stuff after the title so I
couldn't tell whether or not Bookshare actually had the book, and then
finally, there it was and I could get to the place where I could choose to
download it. I know I'm inept on the computer, but this was so difficult and
Bookshare wasn't like this for me in the past. Can anyone hazard a guess as
to what was happening to me?
