That was Leader Nancy Pelosi’s warning to Republicans about a looming
Medicare disaster that could see premiums explode by as much as $7.5
billion.
Many Medicare recipients -- including some low-income seniors -- could
have their premiums skyrocket by 50%, according to The New York Times.
President Obama and Democrats in Congress are urging Republicans to
avoid this catastrophe -- but Republicans have yet to act.

This is a big deal. Even health insurance companies are pleading with
Republicans to keep rates affordable.
