Today, I heard about Hong Kong again on Flashpoints. This time, it was from
the individual who usually reports on North Korea. He gave similar
information about the demonstrations, to what I heard yesterday on Loud and
Clear, with some extra background. There was more information about the
extradition law which is not , apparently, an evil plot to remove people
from Hong Kong justice. There's information about what the government of
Hong Kong was like before Hong Kong reverted to China, what life for the
majority of workers living on Hong Kong is like, and about how well equipped
the demonstrators were and how brutal.
