Bonnie, while I disagree with Pence on just about every political issue I
readily recognize that he is not the dangerous loose cannon that Trump is. A
president has to deal with times when they don't get their own way. Forty four
presidents have managed to do this. I think Trump has never developed that
skill in his professional life; personal life not withstanding either.

Well, if Trump does indeed end up firing Sessions, since shaming him into
quitting seems to not be working, he will only be shooting himself once more in
the foot, a form of self-torture Trump has developed into an art form at this
point in his presidency. Learning from prior mistakes does not appear to be
any kind of suit for Trump. I am counting the days to his eventual
impeachment, although I worry for that day, too, as Pence would be almost as
much of a disaster, and Ryan would be worse than Pence.
