As a matter of fact, I was very reluctant to ban Mostafa from the list
in the first place. Actually, I rather enjoyed assisting him to make a
fool of himself on list. But after repeated pleas I finally took some
action anyway and I took the least drastic action that I could. I simply
muted him. I left him with the ability to receive messages from the
list, but unable to post.

In the past when I received junk snail mail I delighted when they included a
postage paid return envelope. I would stuff their own advertising in it and
drop it in a mail box. I didn't even think of doing anything similar to
Mostafa. There would be a difference though.
Those prepaid envelopes actually cost the advertisers something and it was more
than the face value postage. Without being hit in the pocketbook I expect that
it just might encourage Mostafa.
