I am absolutely convinced that the Human Species has an Insanity Gene.
How else can we explain our continuous attempt to end violence with
violence?
We Torture, murder, and disrespect the beliefs of others. How can we
preach democracy, peace and respect when we condone the wide use of
murder via long distance bombing, torturing prisoners because "their
government does it", undermining governments put in place by the
people, but who disagree with our wishes.
Actually, my negative side tells me that there is no hope. Once we
have caste aside our moral standards, saying that it is only for the
time it takes us to destroy our evil enemies, all hope is lost.
Meanwhile, my Positive side seems to be off counting the Sparrows.
