NPR did a piece just now about young people who will be voting for President
for the first time in 2016. These were all young educated white people, from
what I could tell. They said they did not identify with either major party.
However, aside from one of them who said she might vote for Hillary because
she liked that Hillary was not daunted by Bill's infidilities, the others
were planning to vote for Republicans because they felt that Obama hadn't
handled the financial crisis well. Oh, and also, they talked about the
"vibes" they got from each person. It was like they were much more
concerned with personalities than with issues. Granted, this didn't sound
like a scientific sample. God knows how they were chosen. But this is the
picture that NPR is projecting to the country of where American youth stands
politically today. And the Left is saying that most Americans agree with
Bernie about financial issues?
