Marsha,
I’ve been a list member twice, first for a short time when the list first was
created, and then again, from 2006 or so on, to the present day. We have always
had some personal conflicts on this list. I remember one night when 2 list
members fought with each other for hours and it was a very personal fight.
Those members are still here. It was a long time ago. We had one person who
joined twice, using pseudonyms, and his purpose seemed to be solely to cause
strife among us. We’ve managed to weather all of it.

There is really something missing from this list now. At one time, it was a
place of safety. There were discussions but very little name calling. When
there was name calling, the people who called names were here for a short time
but then went away. I don't feel safe any longer. Perhaps this will change
soon. For this reason, I will stay, at least for a short time. Perhaps this
change has happened because of the tragic state of the world. Please respect
each other and try to remember that in the end love reigns no matter what
religion you might be.
