I have spent the whole afternoon, it seems lisstening to podcasts. For thos
of you who have access to them, I want to tell you about the ones, so far,
that I find to be most informative. In addition to Democracy Now, there's
Intercepted, (from The Intercept) and absolutely informative and
entertaining too, Start Making Sense, (from The Nation), The Real News
network and The Real News podcasts, Scheer Intelligence, (Robert Scheer from
Truthdig interviews various people), and The pacifica Evening News, an hour
long traditional news program which goes up on line about 10:40 p.m. eastern
time and I listen to it the next morning. It is the Pacifica network,
listener sponsored completely and WBAI is the New York affiliate. Democracy
Now broadcasts on Pacifica. These podcasts are a wonderful, painless way to
gather information. I'm still trying to find out if On Contact with Chris
Hedges has a podcast. I looked under On Contact, but that search failed.
I'll try the complete web address and see if that works. Podcasts, a
complicated way of getting radio programs on demand, terrific for blind
people.
