I think you are right, Miriam; but there is always the chance someone on the HHS
board is actually human with a conscience and who may be swayed by what we say.
And our comments may well make it beyond that committee as well. I'm not going
to let the HHS committee think no one cares that we're being robbed of
healthcare and that super-rich people need tax cuts more than poor people need
Medicaid.
Not speaking out because we don't think anyone will listen will only convince
them that we don't care.
