I'm reading a book...I'll have to listen to the title again, but it
walks us through the history of a nation saturated with White
Superiority. As the American Oligarchy marched and murdered its way
from coast to coast...and beyond, it never treated non European non
White people with anything close to the special treatment granted to
White, mostly English and Western Europeans.
Today's treatment of Muslims is no better nor worse than that given to
Blacks, Asians, Mexican, and any other people of color. We are just
about as racist today as were our forefathers going back to the first
"settlers" on the shores of the New World, given to them by none other
than God Almighty.
I honestly believe that White Americans will give away their remaining
freedom if it means that a strong man will keep America White.
It is so sad that I can't help but weep. I weep for all of the lives
of the beautiful people trampled by the cruel uncaring Racists. I
weep for the loss of all the talent which might have lifted us up and
saved our planet and given a better life to us all. And I weep mostly
for my inability to have made a safe and joyful Land for my children
and grand children...and their children, if anyone is left.

heard it on the Pacifica News podcast this morning and on the Democracy Now
podcast and, perhaps on the Intercepted podcast. And I read about it. All
these people, working people, family members, undocumented, one of them a
beneficiary of Obama's policy protecting children of undocumented parents
who are living here. Then I went down to get the mail and the mailman was
telling two other people that he'd heard that 5,000 criminal immigrants
with
guns had been rounded up in California. He was in an adjoining room when he
was telling this fable. When he returned to the mailboxes, I couldn't keep
quiet. I just calmly said that I'd been reading about this all day and I
think it was just 600 people with no documents and no guns who'd been
rounded up in California. Of course, he didn't even bother answering
because
why should he believe an old blind woman who probably didn't know what day
it is? This is how Tsrump got elected and how Fascists will take over in
the
next few months. One of the articles from Truthdig that I couldn't post was
about a history professor who says we just have a few months to resist, or
our democracy will be gone. He cites similarities to the 1930's.
