Good morning Marianne,
That is entirely understandable that would be wishing to focus more on the
local activities such as with the gardening group and development of the
future community hall in Fittie.
It has been wonderful to have the chance to welcome you to the Community
Council over this past year or so, as I believe the community has benefited
very strongly from your support toward some of those same topics, as well as
other projects that are very meaningful and have helped to strengthen the
feeling of community spirit such as with the Fittie boat and playpark upkeep
and maintenance.
Even if you may prefer to focus on similar activities in the times ahead, I
would like to give the reassurance that if you would like to consider
returning to the Community Council in the future, we could look at ways of
helping with the workload so that it is able to fit in with all of your other
projects and activities.
Thank you for supporting the Community Council in bringing forward the
priorities, views and issues experienced in the community and supporting us
to help make that positive difference and lasting change for the future.
The very best of luck with the projects and activities that I am certain will
benefit just as much from your contribution and support as we have, and
indeed if the Community Council could be of assistance with any of the
projects described you are always very welcome to let us know.
Sincerely,
Jonathan
Dear all,
I just wanted to let you all know that I have decided not to put my name
forward again for the community council. With the ongoing work connected to
the potential future community hall in Fittie and various activities of the
local gardening group I find myself a bit overloaded sometimes and need to
cut back.
I am sorry, Pauline, that this leaves you the only one representing our
corner of the town, and hope that someone else will step forward in future to
join you.
I would like to thank everybody in the community council and our councillors
for their contributions to improve life in our ward. And thank you all for
making me welcome in your group.
All the best,
Marianne Wamser
