Subject: [cpcc-committee] Community Council - PB Event Day, 10th March 2018
Good morning everyone,
As a reminder that the Participatory Budgeting Event for
Castlehill & Pittodrie, City Centre and George Street will be taking place
tomorrow on:
Saturday, 10th March 2018 - from 10am at Hanover Primary School
There have been over 20 applications received so far from Community Groups and
Community Projects to the available funding, and many of whom will be sharing
their presentations on the day about their passions, experiences and projects.
I am very proud for us as the Community Council, and for so many within the
community to have been able to support, promote and raise awareness and
recognition of so much of the groups, activities and projects throughout our
communities as part of this.
As focus for development, we will also be looking at strengthening connections
of many of these groups with each other, and with us as Community Council.

It would be very welcome to see everyone there who is available to attend, and
indeed any neighbours, friends, family or colleagues who reside within the area
and would like to learn more about what is happening in the community and how
they can be part of it.
As well as the funding itself, it is this support, shared experience and
strengthening of these connections that will be such an important and valuable
part of the day.
Thank you all again for supporting this process and event, helping to raise the
profile and securing funding, support and connections for so many groups,
activities and projects in our communities.
