Please find forwarded and included a response to the draft consultation on the
'Scheme of Establishment' and 'Complaints Procedures' that are currently being
developed for Community Councils in Aberdeen.
The drafts are currently being updated day-to-day as responses come forward
from Community Councils throughout the city, and advice from Council Officers,
etc
There was the chance to discuss some of the proposed updates at this evening's
meeting of the Community Council Forum, and so shall hopefully be more
information coming in the weeks and months ahead with the chance for us to stay
updated, contribute and share recommendations at each stage.

Hi everyone,
Please see attached responses to the recommendations that have been put forward
by your CC.
Thank you for taking the time to respond and provide some suggestions for
further improvement.
The documents are changing on a daily basis at the moment due to the various
comments being made. The Complaints Procedure especially has undergone
significant changes based on advice from the legal team and the complaints team.
The Scheme has been amended to address similar points that has been put forward
by yourselves.
The report for Council will be issued to you all along with the documents that
will go before Council in due course.

Please find attached:
- Documents showing proposed changes for Community Councils in Aberdeen,
potentially to take effect from later in 2018.
- Consultation response to 'Scheme of Establishment and Complaints Procedure'
- Consultation response to 'Proposed Boundary Changes'
The Castlehill and Pittodrie Community Council responded to these proposed
changes just over a year ago, and so the recommendations include the response
that was made then, as well as discussions and views from members since that
time.
