Dear Jonathan,
Further to the trader’s licence application above, as a resident of Fittie and
a Community Councillor, I would like to think that the following objections
could be embedded within an objection from CPCC.
- There are already 4 vans trading in the area between the residential zone of
Fittie and the roundabout at Burger King. We are at saturation point.
- One of the traders, which is parked next to the public toilets at the top of
New Pier Road, is already taking up parking space for FOUR vehicles, with a
white van, a red Renault van, two large outdoor plastic storage boxes, bins,
generator and outdoor furniture in addition to the burger van itself.
We can’t add to the existing squalor in this area.
-Cars and vans stopping to buy from this trader park in parallel with the said
vehicles on this cornet. This is a real danger to traffic and pedestrians.
This is against the law.
- Furniture from these vans is cobbled together into outdoor cafes for eaters,
blocking the pavement for pedestrians.
Unwelcome.
- Rubbish, smells and noise from generators polluted the area.
Please. Enough is enough
Thank you,
Pauline
