Thank you for your participation in the 10 meter test nets!
On Sunday, NOvember 19, we will be running an informal 6 meter test net on
50.225 MHz USB.
The net will begin at approximately 8:30 PM, after the CVARC net on
146.625/145.47/146.82 ends.
Even if you don't have a 6 meter antenna, try tuning up your existing antenna.
Or think about
putting up a 6 meter dipole; it's only 10 feet long. We will run 6 meter nets
for the next couple
of Sunday nights, so if you don't have time to put one up before tomorrow
night, you'll have another
chance the following week.
Work everyone that you can, and send an email back to me letting me know who
you were
able to reach and communicate with.
As with the 10 meter net, the purpose of this temporary net will be to see how
well we can
use 6 meter SSB simplex to communicate across north central Vermont. Please
join us, and
forward this to other hams in Vermont.
