Here is a great opportunity to test your 10 meter
signal.
The ARRL 10 Meter contest starts tomorrow (Friday) at
7PM.
The first hour (7-8PM) is a great time to work locals, as
there is not much
else going on.
I'll be on then - look for me around 28.425. I can
usually hear most
stations in Northern VT.
If I don't hear you at first, jump up and down and make
a lot of noise to
give me time to put the yagi on you.
If you have a vertical antenna, you might want to try a
dipole as well to
avoid cross-polarization loss.
Anyhow, stop by and say hello. I'm not sure how much
operating I'll do
during the weekend with the poor conditions and the RANV
Party Saturday.
Let's hope for some nice pop openings.
