Good afternoon Brian,
My buddy and fellow motorcyclist Ben Pierce gave me your
contact info, thinking you might know someone who fit the bill.
With my co-founder Phil, I run a small
contract research type company in Montpelier VT specializing
in sensor development and machine learning. We've now
got more work than we know what to do with, so we need to hire.
Specifically, we have a project to build a 52 megapixel
camera (comprised of four individual smaller cameras) for
bomb threat inspection. We really need an electrical
engineer/embedded systems guy who can interface the cameras
to a single board computer, including adapting some existing
drivers in Linux for speciality work. We've prototyped a
lot of this, but we need a full time engineer to make it
happen for the 10 prototypes we'll be delivering.
It's very difficult to find people with the
skillsets required for this project (even graduating
students who want to learn!), and Ben thought you might have
some insight. Ben very briefly explained you've worked
at NASA as an EE, so I thought I'd try a shot in the dark.
