Nice going Cathy. They've been quite good for some weeks, but yes, LOTS of QSB
for sure. I managed to work the new entity Kosovo on 160-80 and 40 over the
past few days, and the somewhat rare ZC4 on 160 and 40. But the big excitement
is the upcoming Bouvet operation. That one is super rare and this is the time
to work them on any band. Unlikely there will be any future operation from
Bouvet for many years to come. Good luck in the pile-ups.

Subject: [CVARC] Low bands are open

Well, the high HF bands may not be what we'd like, but the low bands are open.

I worked quite a few stations tonight, including Wisconsin, Toronto/Ontario,
Nova Scotia, and Labrador, and I heard a number of stations that I wasn't able
to work due to QSB, including Sweden and Moscow.

All of this was on 160 and 80 meters, FT8 digital mode.

So don't give up just because the sunspots are poor.  Turn on the radio, spin
the dial down to 80 or 160, and see what you work can work.

Cathy
