I just spoke with a ham on the Bolton repeater who is climbing Camel's Hump for
a SOTA activation. His 5W HT was S9 full quieting on the input here in East
Barre.
He has a 7.5 Ah battery and a total of 30 lbs of gear, so his activiation is
more than just an HT and rubber duck.
He expects to be on FM simplex on or near 146.52 around 1 PM. I encourage
everyone to listen and work him.
