I will be putting a significant effort into the contest. I hope you will all
get on and
make a least a few contacts. This is the one time a year that Vermont gets
center stage on the HF bands.

The Vermont QSO Party starts tonight (FRI) at 7PM and runs for 48 hours.
WE NEED OPERATORS!
Over the last few years, a few of the regulars became SK's. This year a few
more are either travelling or have some sort of family stuff going on. And
I don't need to tell you that the conditions have not been all that great.
A lot of guys are looking for VT stations in this contest. Trust me - I
get all sorts of complaints when folks do not feel a sufficient number of
VT stations show up on their favorite mode!
Please consider popping on for few hours on Sat or Sun and handing out some
VT contacts.If everyone on this list collects a couple hundred QSO's, we should
have no
problem keeping the masses happy. And you will qualify for the much
sought-after VT QSO Party Certificate.
New this year is FT8 activity. You will have to figure out how to encode
your CO in place of your grid (I can give some hints, if needed). You don't
get mults for doing this, but it will allow you to run up some nice QSO
totals in the poor propagation.
