✋🏼 Deaf interpreters from RMIT 🤚🏼
DeafBlind Victoria is providing a DeafBlind World workshop (DBW) at RMIT for
Deaf students who are studying Interpreting on Friday, 28th September.
This course is for Deaf students to learn how to interpret for DeafBlind
people in different methods of communication such as tactile, visual frame,
oral and Auslan which is part of the students assessment.
We would like DBV members to get involved to help the Deaf students to
practise interpreting and communication with Deafblind people.
Are you interested?
Please contact Heather Lawson on deafblindworld@xxxxxxxxx for more
information and let her know by this FRIDAY - if any of you are interested to
help out in the morning or afternoon even for the whole day.
This will help our future Deaf interpreters to understand how to interpret
and communicate with Deafblind people.
We would love to have you come along!
DeafBlind Victoria Team.
