After the written description there is a link to Limping Chicken, a British blog site that shows a 10 minutes video how a Brazilian Deafblind youngster could enjoy world cup games using two interpreters and a tactile football field. One interpreter signs on the deafblind's back who has the possession of the ball and how the spectators cried, when the referee blows his whistle and sign the different types of fouls. The other interpreter has the hands of the deafblind on his hands and leads the movements of the players and the ball on the tactile football field. He would spell to him the names or numbers of the players. He also signs the Brazilian National Anthem. The game being watched is between Brazil and Croatia. At the end, the Deafblind youngster signs in LiBras, the name of the Brazilian Sign language, his great happiness about being able to take part in the fever of the Soccer World Cup. You will recognize a few signs that is the same or similar to ASL. LiBras has a similar history of ASL. A French Deaf man named Huey went to Brazil at the same time as Laurent Clerc went to USA and brought the Old LSF there.
