That is inspiring Jannetta,
I think the young Deafblind people (including you) are showing the older
generation what is possible today.
Thanks,
Janne

'switched off' hearing honoured
Howdy everybody:
My wife Nina found the news from ABC about Deafblind young lady of WA. ( click
URL at bottom)
We went to DB Conference nearly 2 weeks ago and I was in the section where
deafblind young lady name is Vanessa was speaking of her life.
In Camp Nina saw her !
Here URL to read but I don’t know if any DB people can read by braille ?
To Peter: Can you change URL into plain text for DBAust?
Thank you
Richard (RamKid).

Vanessa Vlajkovic was born legally blind and last year chose to exit the
hearing world. Now the university student and avid cheerleader has been named
WA's Young Person of the Year.
