DADAA is offering Tactile Tours for people who are blind or vision impaired
this year at Sculptures at Bathers in Fremantle.

DADAA conducts Access Tours at Sculpture at Bathers for people with disability
and their carers. Sculpture at Bathers takes place every two years and is a
uniquely Western Australian event that showcases the work of over 70 sculptors
and extends across the historic site at Bathers Beach Art Precinct and Kidogo
Arthouse.
DADAA is again offering Access Tours again in 2017.DADAA’s Access Tours
facilitate discovery through dialogue and touch.
They are designed to introduce participants with disability to new ways of
experiencing and enjoying contemporary sculpture.
Participants are taken on a guided tour of along accessible areas in the
Bathers Beach precinct with experienced DADAA guides.
They are encouraged to engage with a selection of sculptures through informed
discussion, audio description and touch.
Bookings are essential. There is a maximum of 12 people per tour. Two beach
wheelchairs are also available on request for each tour.

The Tours are FREE.
