To assist people living 300km outside of the major centres of Melbourne, Sydney 
and Brisbane to attend Texpo, Vision Australia is offering 5 grants for a 
client and companion for travel and accommodation.

 

Closing dates for applications for this grant are 25 July 2012 (see the 
attached form).

 

As a reminder, here is the information on Texpo I emailed the other day:

 

Texpo has now become an annual event where Vision Australia hosts assistive 
technology suppliers and has stalls around its major services so that anyone 
interested can learn more about what is available to people with a vision 
impairment.

 

As usual there is something for everybody whether it's learning something new 
at one of our technology presentations, visiting the exhibits by an even larger 
number of product suppliers, or even just the chance to see all technology 
solutions and our services in the one spot. 

 

Texpo is even a great place to catch up with our professional staff or have a 
coffee with old friends. We look forward to seeing you there.
