Reader Comments: “Kay Batstone’s book has brought to the attention of its readers a great amount of information about the R.F.D.S. history. The vision of Rev John Flynn demanded energy and courage on his part together with the contribution from dozens of men and women over 75 years; is a truly remarkable story which I have enjoyed. During my lifetime I have visited many of the towns serviced by the R.F.D.S., but this book explains how very important individuals contributions have been, over the years to provide urgent medical services to those centres.
