a.. Three community legal centres Fitzroy Legal Service, Hobart Community Legal
Centre, and Redfern Legal Centre have been working together to develop
information about people's rights in relation to the National Disability
Insurance Scheme (the NDIS). The Fact Sheets are intended to provide basic
information about what rights a person has under the NDIS, and what is involved
when those rights are not being recognised. The Fact Sheets are meant to
provide general information and do not replace legal advice or advocacy. They
will eventually be uploaded onto a special dedicated website.
a.. Advocates, consumers and self-advocates are invited to participate by
coming along to a consultation on Tue 6th May, 2014 in Collingwood Melbourne.
