Hello,

New South Wales - This is for the Deafblind community an opportunity to go to this forum below.
There will be webcast so anyone from Australia can watch as well.
Auslan interpreters are provided.
Please share with your networks.

Trudy

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sex Abuse is holding a deaf-friendly information session to enable deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing people and their families as well as organisations all over Australia to understand it's very important work.

We invite you to attend.

When: 4 August from 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm at the Park Royal Hotel in Parramatta (30 Phillip Street, Parramatta).

The information session will also be webcast so anyone from Australia can watch. It will have audio, Auslan interpreters and live captions.

The session is open to anyone and is an excellent chance to see Commissioner Robert Fitzgerald AM explain the Royal Commission's work. You do not need to have had a personal experience with sexual abuse. Perhaps you know someone who has had an experience and you want to find out how the Royal Commission can support them to get involved. Perhaps you just want to have a better understanding of the work of
the Royal Commission.

RSVP: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/information-session-tickets-12172088043

We hope to see you there whether on the computer watching or in person.

For more details or to request a deafblind interpreter, please email Danni Wright at dwright@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
