NO CUTS, NO DELAYS TO THE NDIS
Dear Friend
Today I launched a national petition with a simple message for Tony Abbott: No
Cuts, No Delays to the NDIS.
For generations, politicians have promised Australians with disability a better
deal.
For generations, politicians have let them down.
Now, for the first time ever, people with disability are getting the better
deal they always deserved.
When it is fully operational in 2019-20, more than 460,000 Australians with
severe or profound disability will be receiving the care and support they need
to lead the kind of lives they can only now dream of.
For people with disability, their carers and families the NDIS will be truly
transformational.
Already, more than 2,500 Australians with disability are getting the support
they need through the NDIS.
There's just one problem.
The Abbott Government has been constantly talking down the NDIS - I am
concerned that the Abbott Government is paving the way to make cuts or delays
to the rollout of the NDIS.
It's time to tell Tony Abbott that the NDIS must be rolled out - on time, in
full, as promised.

People with disability, their carers and families have waited long enough for
the NDIS. They shouldn't have to wait any longer.
