Guide Dogs Qld: Moreton Bay Rail Link - Accessibility familiarisation sessions
at Kallangur and Murrumba Downs stations

In preparation for the opening of the much-anticipated Redcliffe Peninsula line
on 4 October, Queensland Rail is very pleased to be holding accessibility
familiarisation sessions at Kallangur and Murrumba Downs stations. These
sessions will take place at the same time, from 10am – 12pm on Tuesday 27
September and are specifically for people with disabilities from the local
community, as well as local disability sector organisations and their members
and clients.

During the sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore and
familiarise themselves with the station layouts and access features at their
own pace in a safe and controlled environment before the line opens to the
general public the following week. The Queensland Rail Accessibility team and
customer service staff will be in attendance, and Translink reps will also be
present to talk about bus connections with the new rail line.

If you, your clients or members, or your organisation would like to be involved
in the sessions at one or both stations, please RSVP via return email to
accessibility@xxxxxxxxx<mailto:accessibility@xxxxxxxxx> by Friday 23 September
to assist us with planning. As train and bus services will not yet be running,
participants will need to make their own travel arrangements on the day,
however the car parks at both stations will be available.

We look forward to seeing you at Kallangur and Murrumba Downs on the day.
