Our Guest on Vision Extra is Marg Sprigg, owner of the Arkaroola Wilderness
Sanctuary, 700 kilometers from Adelaide, chatting about her sight saving
experience with the Royal Flying Doctors when glaucoma suddenly effected her
eyesight, and Dr. Paul Gardener Stephen, Senior Lecturer from Flinders
University in the area of computer sciences talking about the way technology
can now help with medical and other challenges to people in the outback.

Our Guests on Focal Point are:Jim Colligan, Manager for the Blind Welfare
Association, talking about increasing staff, services and volunteers,  the My
Aged Care Program, and the AGM coming up on October 24th, and nominations for 2
vacant Board Positions closing at 5 p m September 18th.

Dr.  James Muecke, Founder and Chair for the Sight For All Foundation, speaking
about being Ernst and Young Social Entrepreneur of the year, and the
opportunity to join in with the incredible work the Foundation is doing in many
overseas countries saving sight.

Susie Barrington, a participant in the Commonwealth Bank Enable Mentoring
Programme,  sharing her experiences with the Programme and determination to
find paid work as well as encouraging others to take part.

Anthea Taylor, from the Vision Australia Library, chatting about her trip to
South Africa for the International Federation of  Library Associations and a
visit to the South African Library for the Blind.
