Routes 16 & 96 - from 8pm to last tram on
Monday 28 November 2011
Due to overhead power works the following tram service changes will
apply from approximately 8pm to last tram on Monday 28 November 2011:
Route 16 trams will divert via St Kilda Rd and will not service The
Esplanade, Fitzroy St and part of Carlisle St.
Route 96 trams from East Brunswick will terminate at Stop 132 St Kilda
Station.
A tram replacement bus service will operate for Route 16 and 96
passengers, travelling along Fitzroy St, The Esplanade and Carlisle St.
You can catch the tram replacement bus service from:
* Stop 29 - in Union St, near St Kilda Rd
* Stop 131 - in Fitzroy St, near St Kilda Rd
* Stop 132 - in Fitzroy St, near Princes St/Lakeside Dve
* Stop 133 - in Fitzroy St, near Grey St/Canterbury Rd
* Stop 134 - in Fitzroy St, near Park St
* Stop 135 - in Fitzroy St, near Acland St
* Stop 136 - in The Esplanade at Alfred Square
* Stop 138 - in The Esplanade, near Luna Park (to City)
* Stop 138 - in Carlisle St at Acland St (use Route 623 bus stop,
to Kew)
* Stops 32 to 35 - at/near existing tram stops
* Stop 36 - in Carlisle St, outside St Kilda Library
Stop 30 St Kilda Junction will not be serviced by the tram replacement
bus.
