From Vision Australia - Carols By Candlelight.
If tuning in from home to the Vision Australia Carols by Candlelight on
Christmas Eve we are proud to announce an Australian first!
The Vision Australia Audio Description Service will deliver audio description
via the Channel 9 online streaming service, the 9Now app.
The 9Now stream will be embed into the Vision Australia Carols website to
provide easy access on the night. The stream will be available from 7.45pm at
[https://carols.visionaustralia.org]
Please check you local viewing times.
As the streaming signal comes via the internet it will be slightly delayed to
the televised broadcast.
Vision Australia radio will also be covering the simulcast with the AD on our
AM and digital radio services and our seven VIC Regional stations (Albury,
Bendigo, Mildura, Warragul, Warrnambool, Shepparton and Geelong) plus you can
listen live via our web stream at [www.varadio.org]
For anyone attending the Vision Australia Carols at the Sidney Myer Bowl on
Christmas Eve, audio description will also be available at the event. Use of
the receiver is free and can be collected at the Information Centre to the
right of Gate 1 when you enter.
If you would like a receiver allocated to you for the evening please let me
know.
So there are plenty of options if you would like to access all glitz and glam
of this gala event.
