Free Tactile Tours Sculpture by the Sea at Cottesloe Beach WA.
Visitors with disability and their carers are invited to join in our free
program of Tactile Tours, developed in partnership with DADAA Inc as part of
Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe's Access Program, an initiative supported by
Lotterywest.
Facilitating discovery through dialogue and touch, the Tactile Tours are
designed to introduce visitors with disability to a new experience with
contemporary sculpture. Participants will be taken on a guided tour through the
exhibition with experienced DADAA and Art Gallery of Western Australia guides
and encouraged to engage with a selection of sculptures located in accessible
areas along the Cottesloe beach precinct.
Dates:
Tuesday 11 – Saturday 15 March
Tuesday 18 – Friday 21 March
Times: 10 am AND 11.15am
Meeting Point: Meet at the 'Tactile Tours' sign located along Marine Parade
under a large tree.
Cost: Free
