Become a voluntary member of Western Health Committees and Advisory Groups

 

Western Health is looking for members for the following committees 

 

 

Cultural Diversity and Community Advisory Committee (CDCAC)

The CDCAC is the voice of our community. By advising the Board of Directors on 
service provision and policy development, its aim is to keep our patients at 
the centre of care. The CDCAC meets for two hours approximately every six 
weeks. 

 

 

Consumer Information Review Panel 

The Consumer Information Review Panel is responsible for reviewing Western 
Health's Patient Information brochures for consumer readability and 
understanding.  Its aim is to ensure that the patient information we develop is 
easy to understand and relevant for patients, families and carers.   

 

The group meets four times a year but most of the work is done by email or mail 
correspondence. 

 

 

Applicants should live in the City of Hobson's Bay, Maribyrnong, Brimbank, 
Melton, Wyndham, Moonee Valley, Moorabool or Hume. Applicants should not be 
involved in the direct delivery of health care. 

 

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and people with a disability or 
people who identify as Gay Lesbian Transgender and Intersex are encouraged to 
apply, but do not need to identify.
