Hi Fides,
I sent out the mail about the restorative yoga. I am working my way through two
volunteers at the moment so bear with me.
I’m not sure of you mean me/us Yoga at the Reach, but I didn’t add you to my
mailing list and used my personal account rather than work.
I checked our mailing database and you aren’t on there with the email address
below. I appreciate that it may not be my yoga centre (Yoga at the Reach) but
unless we have an event, people only get added if they subscribe or are in our
users data base and had ticked to accept emails.
If it is me/us. Please let me know. It may be a different email address that I
didn’t look for.
Let me know.
Nicola

Subject: [eccotalk] Re: Yoga stuff - is this for real or a scam?
I don't think we have but I did receive a flyer for Yoga Physio in a hand
written envelope. I've no idea how or why that was sent to me.

Hello neighbours,
A while ago there was a message on ECCOtalk asking for volunteers for yoga
sessions. I responded to that offer, because Ramen & I were interested, and we
got an initial response, but we never got any dates or any further information.
Instead, we now get advertising 'newsletters' from some yoga teacher that we've
never heard of. The newsletters claim that we're 'subscribed' - that's the
usual way spammers go about their business... And of course the newsletters
have a link to 'unsubscribe' - that's the usual way scammers go about their
business. However, we've checked the yoga teacher's website, and it seems
genuine - we just haven't got a clue how we ended up on their mailing list!
I'm just wondering whether those two occurrences are linked.
Question: Has anyone else had similar experiences through conversations on
ECCOtalk?
Best wishes,
Fides
